Chow Chow

The Chow Chow is an ancient Chinese breed. It has a thick fluffy coat and face which makes it look similar to a teddy bear. It’s also one of the few dogs that have a blue-black tongue. The Chow Chow prefers short exercise or play sessions followed by some rest. While it does have a lower energy level than many other breeds it is a dog that requires an experienced owner.

Pug

The Pug is one of the small lazy dog breeds which make it an ideal pet for small homes and apartments. And also of course for those who don’t want to have to go on long daily walks or runs. The Pug prefers to burn off its energy in daily play rather than exercise sessions. However, the breed does tend to get overweight so be sure to schedule a time to play each and every day.

The Bullmastiff is a big and very formidable breed. It is known for being lazy around the house and sometimes a bit stubborn as well. Shih Tzu

The Shih Tzu is a popular small companion dog with a long flowing coat. And it usually only has very short bursts of energy where it wants to play or maybe go for a short walk. The majority of the time, however, its preferred activities include lounging around and snuggling with its owner.

Whippet

The Whippet is one of the fastest dogs on the planet. However, like its larger relative, the Greyhound, it is a sprinter. It doesn’t have endless energy like many people would expect.
