The Romanian Mioritic Shepherd Dog Was Developed In the Mountains Of Romania

A natural breed of dog was developed in the Carpathian mountains of Romania, and farmers began selecting the strongest and most obedient of those dogs to guard their livestock. Before long, the shaggy and fearless Romanian Mioritic Shepherd Dog was born. Today, they are a popular choice for companionship as well as guarding.
