Despite its thick coat the Japanese Spitz favors the warmth of the indoors and should be kept as an indoor dog.

Pomeranian

The appearance of the Pomeranian is similar to a powder puff. The Pomeranian of today is a toy breed. However, in the past, these small dogs with pointy ears were larger reaching weights of around thirty pounds and were used to herd sheep.
